Anca Benera
° launching book ' Matter & History ', Bucharest, 2011
As a result of the project ' Matter & History ', the artist presented a book May 2011.

° 06/10 – 05/12/2011 – residency ' Camden Arts Centre ', London

Young artists from the school of Cluj – IV
For the fourth time and in cooperation with the ' Universitatea de Arta si Design Cluj ',
the gallery will present a selection of the graduates from it's painting department.
(26/11/2011 - Jan 2012).
Bogdan Iacob acts again as curator of the exhibition.
In recent years the University of Art and Design Cluj established a solid reputation,
whilst several artists that have or are in the course of building an international career
graduated there. Since its start, September 2006, the gallery had been showing mostly
young Romanian artists so this project came as a logical next step.
Over the past 3 years (editions 2008, 2009 and 2010) 14 students presented their work
at the gallery. Out of them, Maxim Liulca and Sergiu Toma had meanwhile a personal
exhibition at the gallery, and Ioana Iacob will have her personal show September 2011.

For the second time, Maxim Liulca was selected for the ESSL Art Award, edition 2011.
